１．公募人員：特任助教 １名

・所　　属：金沢大学新学術創成研究機構がん進展制御研究コア・がん微小環境研究ユニット

　　　　　　およびがん進展制御研究所腫瘍動態制御分野

・任　　務：上記研究ユニットにおいて、「特任教員」として研究ユニットの研究推進の一翼を担うとともに

　　　　　　がん進展制御研究所の教員としての職務も担う。

　　　　　　（研究ユニットにおける研究内容は、２．公募研究領域　を参照のこと）

・勤務形態：任期付きの特任助教（任期は平成３０年３月３１日まで）

・給　　与：国立大学法人金沢大学特任教員の就業に関する規則による。

２．公募研究領域

がん進展制御研究コアにおいては、自然科学、工学、基礎・臨床医学を専門とする研究者が融合することにより、がんの悪性進展制御機構の解明に取り組んでいます。がん微小環境研究ユニットでは、がん微小環境因子として、がん転移や薬剤耐性に関与するサイトカインや細胞増殖因子に関わる研究が進められています。候補者は、サイトカインや細胞増殖因子による転移や薬剤耐性に関わる研究、サイトカインや細胞増殖因子シグナルの制御を介した創薬研究を推進することが求められます。培養細胞や実験動物を用いた実験系で、生化学・分子生物学的手法を用いた研究に習熟していることが求められます。

３．着任（採用）時期：平成２８年３月１日以降のできるだけ早い時期

• Affiliation: Research unit for Tumor Microenvironment, in the Institute for Frontier Science Initiative and Division of Tumor Dynamics and Regulation,in the Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University
• Role: The applicant will play a role as researcher and faculty member in the Institute for Frontier Science Initiative and the Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University
• Type of employment: Full-time
• Term of office: From March 1st, 2016 until March 31st,2018

2.  Research Area:

In the Cancer Research Core, researchers from a wide variety of fields including natural science, engineering and basic/clinical medicine cooperatively promote cutting-edge research aiming to understand molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development and malignant progression. In research unit for tumor-associated microenvironment, researches on cytokines and growth factors that participate cancer metastasis and drug resistance are ongoing. The applicant is expected to advance the research on cancer metastasis and drug resistance by cytokines and growth factors and drug discovery through inhibition/promotion of cytokine and growth factor signaling.

3.  Date of Employment: March 1st, 2016 (negotiation for later date is possible)

4.Qualifications:

  (1) Applicant must be an excellent researcher, with research achievements in the research area described above.

  (2) Applicant must have a Ph.D. degree or the expertise or research career comparable to a Ph.D. researcher.
