文部科学省共同利用・共同研究拠点 金沢大学 がん進展制御研究所

　2025年5月12～13日、第7回がんと代謝研究会若手の会が福井県繊協ビルで開催されました。本研究会は、若手研究者同士の研究発表を通じた交流・情報交換の場を提供するとともに、当該分野の研究を推進する次世代の研究者の育成を目的としており、がんと代謝をテーマにしています。今回は、免疫に焦点を当て、代謝の観点から理解することを中心に発表が行われました。

　当日は、当研究所から河野晋助教と博士後期課程の林健太郎さんと龔麟祥さんが発表を行いました。今回のトピックスとして、免疫と代謝に関する議論が繰り広げられ、時間を超える活発な質問や提言が交わされました。

　優秀演題として髙良和宏さん（福井大学学術研究院医学系部門）「腫瘍血管を覆う細胞外マトリックスの機能解析」、大前凌さん（岡山大学大学院医歯薬学総合研究科）「Mitochondrial Transfer to Macrophage in tumor microenvironment」、石野貴雅さん（岡山大学学術研究院医歯薬学域）「肝特有の代謝環境と抗腫瘍免疫応答の関係解明」が選出されました。選出された演題については、第12回がんと代謝研究会にて発表が行われる予定です。（報告：河野）

　The 7th Young Researchers’ Meeting on Cancer and Metabolism was held on May 12–13, 2025, at the Senkyo Building in Fukui Prefecture. This meeting aims to promote interaction and information exchange among early-career researchers through research presentations, while also fostering the next generation of scientists in the field of cancer and metabolism. This year’s meeting focused on the immune system, with presentations centered on understanding immunity from the perspective of metabolism.

　From our institute, Assistant Professor Susumu Kohno and doctoral students Kentaro Hayashi and Linxiang Gong presented their work. Lively discussions took place on the topics of immunity and metabolism, with enthusiastic questions and suggestions continuing well beyond the scheduled time.

　The Outstanding Presentation Awards were given to the following researchers: Kazuhiro Takara (Fukui University), Ryo Omae (Okayama University), and Takamasa Ishino (Okayama University). These selected presentations will be featured at the upcoming 12th Annual Meeting on Cancer and Metabolism.
