　謹啓　時下ますます御清祥のこととお慶び申し上げます。

　さて，金沢大学がん進展制御研究所は，「がんの本態解明を目指す革新的基礎研究」及び「がん治療の実用化を目指す応用研究」の一体的な推進に取り組んでいます。

　この度，以上の研究を推進する教授（分野主任）１名を，がんに関連する広い研究領域から公募いたします。つきましては，御多忙中のところ恐縮ですが，貴学（機関）又は関係方面に適任者がおられましたら，下記によりご推薦賜りますようお願い申し上げます。なお，候補者の方には，選考の過程において，研究発表および面談を実施させていただく場合がありますので，あらかじめ御承知おき願います。

（１）公募人員：　教授　１名（任期付５年　再任可）

（２）給与：　国立大学法人金沢大学における年俸制を適用

（３）公募研究領域：　がんの本態解明を目指す基礎研究，またはがん治療の実用化を目指す応用研究

（４）着任（採用）時期：　平成２９年１２月１日以降のできるだけ早い時期

（５）応募資格

•        上記公募研究領域、または関連した研究領域における卓越した研究実績があり，

•     教授として本研究プロジェクトを推進できる優れた研究者

•        博士の学位を有する方，あるいはそれに相当する研究歴を有する方

1. POSITION: Professor

Description: Professor, full-time, 5-year term of contract and renewal requires peer review process.

2. AFFILIATION: Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University

3. RESEARCH AREA:

Basic researches in molecular and cell biology of cancer development and malignant progression, as well as applied researches for establishment of novel preventive or therapeutic strategies are welcome to apply.

4. QUALIFICATIONS:

(1) Applicants should have experience in the cancer research or related research fields with a strong publication record.

(2) Applicants should be cooperative and highly motivated to perform research with faculty and staff members of the Institute.

5．DATE OF EMPLOYMENT:From Dec 1, 2017 (immediately after contract of employment)

6．APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Please present the following documents in A4 or US Letter formats in hard copies and in electronic form on a CD. The documents are to be written in Japanese or English.

a. Curriculum vitae with a recent portrait photograph, describing present position, address, phone number, e-mail address, education career, professional career and others;

b. Publication list, including original scientific papers, book chapters, and others;

c. Reprints of five selected publications;

d. Grant records (last 5 years, name of grant, title and amount should be included);

e. Details of research experiences (about 500 words in English);

f.  Research plan (500 about words in English);

g. Contact information of two suggested referees.
