このたび，金沢大学がん進展制御研究所では「がん分子標的探索プログラム・機能ゲノミクス研究分野（分野主任・鈴木健之）」において，下記の要項により助教の公募を行うことになりました。

1. 公募人員：助教　1名
   勤務形態：任期付きの常勤助教（任期：平成30年3月31日まで（再任不可））
2. 公募研究領域
   ウイルス感染発がんモデルマウスを用いて網羅的に同定したがん関連遺伝子の機能や相互作用の解析を通して、新しいがん分子標的の探索と開発を目指す。特に、ヒストンの翻訳後修飾やDNAのメチル化などエピジェネティクス制御に関与する因子が、がんの発症および悪性進展過程において果たす役割とその作用メカニズムを明らかにする。
3. 着任（採用）時期：平成26年4月1日（予定）
4. 応募資格
   　（1）上記公募研究領域での研究実績があり、助教として本研究プロジェクトを推進できる優れた研究者
   　（2）博士の学位を有する方、あるいはそれに相当する研究歴を有する方

1. OPEN POSITION: Assistant Professor
   Position description: Assistant Professor, full-time, 4-year term of contract
2. AFFILIATION:  Division of Functional Genomics, Cancer Research Institute, Kanazawa University
3. RESEARCH AREA:Exploration of the novel molecular targets for cancer treatment based on comprehensive analysis of the cancer genes isolated by high-throughput screens using retroviral insertional mutagenesis. Functional characterization of the epigenetic regulators involved in the post-translational modifications of histones and DNA methylation, and elucidation of their roles in the initiation and malignant progression of cancer. 4. QUALIFICATIONS:

   (1)	Applicants should hold a doctorate degree or are scheduled to earn a doctorate degree by the date of employment.
   (2)	Applicants should have the capability to perform research with a broader view and perspective in the field of research mentioned above.
   (3)	Applicants should be cooperative and highly motivated to perform research with faculty and staff members of the Institute.

5. DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: April 1st, 2014 (negotiation for later date is possible)

   d.	Details of research experiences (nearly 1,200 characters in Japanese or 500 words in English)
   e.	Ambition for future research (nearly 1,200 characters in Japanese or 500 words in English)
